Subject: [CR]Information and dating of South African Raleigh's

Hi

I hope someone will be able to help. I'm sure the naming of Raleigh's in So uth Africa might have different from those used in the UK. But looking at p ictures someone would hopefully be able to help me date them. I can forward photo's to those that think they can help.

Two of them seems to be something along the lines of the Twenty or it's var iations. One has thin wheels and no gears while the other one has fatter wh eels and a three speed internal hub (not Sturmey or Shimano). Both fold up. Handle bars also differ. The other is a childs bike which in South Africa was called a Blazer.

Once I have enough information I can date them and ensure I get the correct parts for them. There are unfortunately parts missing on some of them.

Another old bike is called a Geraldine. Surfing the net I could not find in fo on them. It has a three speed Shimano internal hub.

I have just finished (99.9%) restoring a Dahon fold-up circa 1986 going by the Sturmey hub.

Kind Regards
