I thought of that too. But I'm just an amateur hack so kept my mouth shut. Sheetmetal is usually creased to stiffen it so maybe it will be hardened unless it's just a soft dent with no sharp edges. Of course you can't get to back side of dent to tap it out. I recently dropped a frame and dented bottom bracket shell. I tapped bottom bracket round again with brass round stock and a hammer. Tedious if not a bit nerve wracking!
