Subject: [CR]re: does anyone make replacement hides?

Don Wilson asked:

does anyone sell replacement hides for brooks, wright, ideale, and brown saddles, either original or facimile? ++++++++++++++++++ At least for Brooks, Mr. Tony Colegrave seems to be the "go-to" guy. Highly recommended by everyone, but my personal experience is limited to his responses to questions - very helpful if not immediate. I understand that Mr. Colegrave spent is career building Brooks saddles, and that he has all the proper stamps and such. For example, he is set up to do proper new covers for the Brooks B-17 "Campagnolo" version, which was a rather rare beastie. If I understood Hilary Stone correctly at Cirque, he is tapering off his work, so sooner is better than later.
