Would someone please post the item number for that DeRosa on e-bay. I had it in my saved searches, but it has mysteriously disappeared. I've lost several saved searches recently, usually after a few days, but before the end of the auction. Has anyone else been troubled in the same way?

Anyone want to hazzard a guess as to where bidding will end on the nifty early 70's De Rosa on ebay right now?

My guess is $5,300 - I'm not bidding and I have no clue who the owner is. Anyone else want to put forth an opinion before the dust settles? If the final price doesn't get well into the 4K range, then we'll know the vintage market is weak...

This bike is perhaps the rarest one to find for someone into 70's Italian Race bikes and the whole Merckx era.

In terms of workmanship, the one I owned was pretty marginal (I've heard others are also) but so what - this is a mighty rare item.

Just curious.
