Here are some obscure aussie bikes and Kiwi I have witnessed. I have seen some pics of bikes by the name of West, Heade...I am trying to remember some of the other names also. If I remember I will email the list on them also But I think there were some very nice marques from the early ages of grass track riding in those areas.

A friend was telling me that when he lived in Australia, he met a frame builder named Jack Pesche. Anyone ever heard of him, or have one of his bikes?

C'mon guys (and gals), you're forgetting your History
of Myths and Legends 131 from Sophomore year. By
definition the Holy Grail of bicycles:
.. cannot be possessed by a mortal,
.. if actually found, signals the death of the finder,
.. appears differently to everyone, and
.. gets discussed ad nauseum, often around large
circular conference tables (or in circular fashion via
the magic of email).
This is one of those "journey-is-the-reward" things.
In other words, whatever you thought was the holy
grail of bicycles is yesterday's news once you get
your hands on it. If you're still breathing, that one
wasn't it after all...
