Hi List & Mark,

I had no idea, that helps in underpinning the price. Do you know if JB ever won while riding the Confente? I am going to pursue that bit of information if you don't know and possibly report back to the list. It is only fair on my part.

Thanks for the info buddy.

Guy

Guy Apple sez snip< I totally agree with Lou on this point re: stewardship. The seller totally deserves the 7K. As for the relationship with Confente on pricing, when was the last time a Confente raced in the Tour de France...? Oh, that's right...never?> end snip

Actually, Jonathan Boyer rode a Confente in the Tour in 1981 (IIRC). Red, white, and blue with stars on the headtube...

When my wife asks me how many bikes I really need, I answer, "Just one more."

Mark Ritz Arcata, CA wanting a Confente in my size, yet unable to pay for it...
