After the recent DVBM (Detroit Vintage Bicycle Mafia) Masi/Bob/Lugged/KOF/On-topic-ish Ride, I checked the hubs of my newly reassembles Masi and found the front to be rough. Last night I decided to figure it out, and found a broken locknut on the front hub! I still need to overhaul it, but balls and cones are "readily" available.
I wonder if anyone has a few extra (now I want to have a spare!) locknuts from these old jewels to sell/trade me?
I also need guidance to the proper spacer configuration for a rear NR set for 126 mm OLD. My LBS rebuilt the hub, and got the spacing just so slightly off, that now I can't use my Sachs-Maillard Ultra-7 freewheel on it!
