The Hobbs tandem sounds like a nice prize! Congrats! Hopefully you aren't "on your own" to the extent of not having a 2nd rider for the tandem!
To your question of >>what bike did you (or will you) ride today? In my case it will be later today, after dinner eastern time. If my wife decides to join me, I will be on an '82 Masi Prestige and my will will likely be on her Colnago. If she chooses not to ride today, I will probably wait until after dark and go out on my Mercian King of Mercia equipped with dual lighting systems front & rear... either way I can't wait!
