Went over to Fayetteville, WV yesterday to meet with some friends in the WhiteWater capital of the country to do a ride into and out of the New River Gorge. Not as much climbing as back home, but steep fun and beautiful and not to mention breath taking view of the the New River Bridge. Did this ride on a Della Santa I picked up from Charles Andrews then built it up with off topic Dura Ace 8 speed aquired from Lou Deeter. Thanks guys.

About 29 and change hilly miles, a lovely evening on quiet country roads enjoying the heady air of intense, late blooming Honey Suckle and bemused (not Bespoke) horses, cows, cats, dogs, tiny donkey(s), and Alpacas. It's my last workout ( and not working too hard) ride before Bike Virginia starting up this Friday. Anyone else on the list going to be there? Lots of hills (mountains) and five days of riding metrics +, with 4,000+ feet of climb almost every day. That means lots of great downhills! Life is good!
