The cheapest way to ship a bike to Japan is by packing it in 2 boxes and sending it via US Postal Service Express Mail EMS. Maximum size for each box is 108 inches Length + Height + girth. You'll probably have to remove the fork to fit the frame in a box. Total cost for shipping both boxes is less than 200.00 and boxes will arrive in about 1 week. Hello guys, I was wondering if someone on this list has sent a bike to Japan, and might want to help me out with a tip on the best way to go about it, and know ballpark figures on rates and shipping speed as it pertains to shipping carriers, etc.
