Were an Italian sausage maker. I read somewhere that the Molteni team folded when the Italian authorities declared the sponsor's product "unfit for human consumption". Could the company itself have survived that? Of course "unfit for human consumption" could apply to lots products of cycling sponsors over the years. Cyclists, like motor racers, aren't too choosey about where there sponsorship money comes from. Except at least you don't see half the cycling teams sponsored by tobacco companies.
