Funny that these two threads should have a connection, but they do.
I have had a 1979 Kharkov "Start Chaussee" road racer for more than ten
years now. It came complete with booklet, bag of tools, some spares and
- a tin of shellac; gooey, awful, ready to be used on the rim. Needless
to say I never got the original tubs off until the shellac got tired of
it all and the tyres came off practically on their own account.
My Kharkov is on wooljersey.com/gallery/toni, so whoever bought the one
on CR can go there for a glimpse. I´d also be happy to supply photocopies or jpegs of my literature to the buyer. While the text is in Russian, there are some nice line drawings.
Regards, Toni Theilmeier, Belm, Germany, where my son Johannes (10) had his first training ride today with the club kids, in glorious weather, and on his on-topic Campag-equipped ALAN at that.
