hi all,

i have a 1985 6 speed regina oro freewheel nib. the freewheel does not indicate what the threading is, but the box is marked "ISO." for some reason i thought this meant the threading was english - is this correct? if ISO has nothing to do with the threading, how can i know what the threading is?

thanks in advance for your help,

It's even better than British!

I.S.O. is the International Standards Organization.

ISO freewheels threads are 1.375" x 24 TPI.

(Sort of half-way betwen BSC and Italian thread, which are extremely close to one another to start with...).

ISO freewheels are designed to work fine with either Italian- or British-threaded freewheel hubs. They are considered a class "A" fit on any of those three hub threads (British, Italian, ISO).
