Pretty! I had a nice green-mint one of those 2 years ago that I sold for $150. Mine was much more well-used. Maybe a 6-7 out of 10. The bike that just sold looks like a 9.5, right? Good photos. Nice auction!
It's a classic bike, for sure. Weren't they the bike of choice for the early Wandering Wheels cross-country tours?
I greatly relished riding mine up to the club ride then kickstanding it in the middle of the parking lot while the carbon-riders rolled around. I rode in proper cut-offs, too! CLASSY! : ) --And I kept up with the lead riders on that 40-mile ride. We dropped about 20 carbon-heads. But, man, I was wasted and seeing crosseyed at the end. It was light for an old Schwinn, but still...
