I second the motion. All in favor say 'aye'----the 'ayes' have it and the debate is concluded with no apparent winner and one clear loser...

A functionally-challenged person, a snake-oil salesman, a youthful idealist, and a person worrying about paying their mortgage can all have the exact same information available to them and yet all would likely come up with a different "opinion" "based" on the same "information"....but so what? If you try to take all the human factors or individual differences out, then there is no longer ANY "opinionism" .... it becomes clear, "simple" logic .... though I am sure one or two of us have opinions about that as well!

I personally found offensive the earlier post that said "so what" about fit and finish, the whole reason for my attraction to CR wasn't to revisit how wonderful life was when I rode a bike everywhere in my youth (well, not entirely), rather it was out of a more-current appreciation for artistry that complements utility, form that complements function, and in the case of non-"KOF"stuff ... patina over perfection. Makes me kinda sad that I have to use the delete key so often because we're so indulgent with each others' time...but I know for SURE that's "just me."

I confess to getting so used to my armchair lately that I think even a plastic unica - nitor saddle would be more comfortable, but do I do anything about it? Newp. I gotta believe I am not the only person on this list in such a predicament, even though the limited basis of my own experience only entitles me to a conclusion about myself. I hope I am wrong. No opinion involved.
