Just give the guy the respect he deserves. lance has accomplished what he has within the framework of what the sport provides. If Eddie was racing today he would be doing the same thing. It would have been interesting if they drug tested riders in Eddies day. His urine would have been full of Amphetemines like every other rider in the peloton of that time period- was that cheating or just going along with the crowd? Bottom line- you may not like Lance, you may not like what cycling has become, but he still peddled for 21 days and came out on top 7 years in a row. All other cyclists of this era have had the same chances and basically the same technology available to them; yet they were unable to even beat him once. You do not think that those foreign teams spend as much on R&D as Postal/Discovery had. They do, you just don't hear about it on OLN or sports illustrated.
Just my two cents...
