I completely agree with Mr. Everett's statement regarding "bad finishes" actually adding to the "charm" of bikes. Shoot...if you are into French bikes, you had better admire the bad...er...unique...finishes! Some of the points on the lugs on my Gitanes are WAY off center. Pierre must have had a bit much to drink before putting that one together, along with the 5-year-old who painted the gold pinstripe along the lugs....

As far as Cyclart is concerned, the only problem with having them restore your French bike is that they do such a good job that it may end up looking Italian!
