Since we are on the topic of centerpulls, can Mafac Racer centerpulls with the mounting bolt be used on frames with centerpull bosses? Also, can they be polished up to look spiffy on a nice bike or are they doomed to be eternal bike boom era cheapo brakes?
With modern cables and housing, I think they work rather well on my PX-10 and the svelte levers fit my small hands nicely. But I have no mountain descending experience with them.
