Hi,

I'm a newbie to this list, I'm just starting out on this exciting new aspect of my cycling addiction. I'm already enjoying the information here.

I have an opportunity to buy a mid 80s De Rosa with Campy Super Record, all pantographed with the De Rosa name. Sheldon Brown has an article from 1997 saying that such a bike in good condition was worth around $1700. This one is in excellent shape. Any thoughts on what it is worth.
