I've been meaning to take pics of my recently acquired
and built up raleighs. I had them lined up and my
girlfriend said it looked like I was going to have a
raleigh parade. Anyway, here's the link to the
pictures:

Look for the albums titled, RRA after, raleigh international, and raleigh competition.
The RRA has been cleaned up and polished and the simplex super LJ derailleurs finally found. They came from a Jeunet road bike from wisconsin. The Jeunet is a 57cm, if anyone is interested. The RRA is a great ride and the LJ derailleurs work very well, I especially like the front derailleur. This bike is pretty much done. The hubs are original while the rims are not but that is not of great concern to me. I do have the original raleigh 501 pedals but they're too narrow so amongst the french parts are some chrome campagnolo pedals.
I picked up the 1971 raleigh international frame and fork from George Allen and many thanks to him. I like the color although it doesn't give you as much contrast with the chromed lugs as the copper international color does. This is going to be my weekend touring bike. I've the blackburn rack on the back, my TA bag up front, all I need are some panniers. There's been some talk about water bottle cages and I think this profile set up works well. those cages will be changed to most likely TA, but it's not a bad deal for 25.00 dollars. I was going to put a cage on the seat tube and down tube but I thought this might be easier.
The competition was found as a frame, fork, headset and other bits at a schwinn stingray show. It's a work in progress but this is how it's setup at the moment. The crankset on it came from the jeunet as well and I would trade it for a 3 arm TA crankset and if it's english threaded I'll throw in some french threaded alloy lyotard pedals.
thanks for looking, comments welcomed.
