Subject: [CR]J Moyne freehub

Thanks to those list members who are using their knowledge and resources to try to work out what this hub is. I realise now that this is proving harder than I imagined, so I will give some further information which may help. I have added 2 more photographs at http://ntlworld.photobox.co.uk/album/1571123 . Having chalked the hub barrel, it can now be seen reasonably clearly that this hub is marked J Moyne. The threading on the axle is standard English and not metric. The arrows on the pic No.4, which has the lockring removed, indicate where the freewheel and axle turn, the two rings with pin holes in being threaded together. The cone on the drive side is therefore within the inner ring, and not visible from the outside. The hub was in a box which contained mostly new Trivelox spare parts, but there is no evidence that it is Trivelox related. The hub is for 36 spokes, but I know insufficient about French parts to know if that is significant. Peter Brown, Lincolnshire, England
