Not Quite. We used to put one hand on the two brake rider's butt and let him slow you down while you sort of straight armed him, like letting your arm be a bar to hold you back, while you backpedalled slightly. Been there, done that on each side of the equation. prehaps best to always always ride very close to another rider and when braking required wrap your arms around him has he brakes
