It is with great sadness that I must inform list members that one of our own contributors is now on my "do not do business with list". About two months ago I paid by credit card for a NOS Superbe Pro Crank... ($90 plus shipping). I was informed that things might take a while. About two weeks ago, I e-mailed the shop owner that I have not yet received the crank, and asked for an explanation or help. Yesterday I informed him not to bother sending the crank, because the deafening silence lets me know that he probably just doesn't care. Another list member let me know that the seller is honest but just flaky. Honest or flaky, my options without any communication from him are limited. I have decided to contact the credit card company with copies of my e-mails and ask them to attempt a refund. This type of negligence on the part of the non-helpful seller makes the hobby of vintage bikes are bummer.
