Rest Stop on Mont Ventoux

Tour de France, Stage 14 from Marseille to Avignon, 198km, including the climb of Mont Ventoux.
Shown here is Belgian rider Richard van Genechten (Elvé-Peugeot) who, having flatted on the climb and been dropped, is taking a moment to drink some water and re-gather his wits.
This was a particularly brutal stage, infamous for the frightening
collapse of French rider Jean Malléjac, who remained incoherent, teeth
clenched, pupils like pinholes, for fifteen minutes while Dr. Dumas
worked to revive him.
