Mike is right, this is a great show and a lot of fun. You would be surprised at how many roadies show up here. It is probably one of the most mixed shows in the NE. You get a bit of everything. I sold and did well there. I also purchased road stuff and did well. I even had some guy drive up to me who was not a collector but had a neat old Schwinn road bike on a rack and asked me if I wanted to buy it. Great Shimano grouppo and all for $40. The bike was almost mint, how could I pass. I found it a new home even before the show ended. The group (The Clams) featuring my friend, Jim Barnard, does a real nice job and his museum is very interesting even though it is primarily muscle bikes. Happy to say that a few of my old bikes have made it into that museum. One bike that would just about be on topic for us here. A rare find I made and sold to Jim. It was a vintage 70s Iverson Drag Stripper road bike, yep that's right a road bike. It was designed by George Barris of muscle car design fame. It is an odd ball but still a road bike that took some of its looks from the muscle bike of the same name. I will be there on Sunday, would not miss it for the world.
See ya!
