Just posted photos of my newly acquired 1975-76 Carlsbad Masi GC prior to the build. Now I can personally compare a Carlsbad to my 1984 San Marcos Rob Roberson built Masi, which is currently my favorite ride.

It is in quite nice condition, retaining its original "California Burgudy" paint --- several minor chips that I touched up.
Original owner's memory dates the frame to 1975, but the serial # puts it in line with others built in 1976.
Should have it built by early next week, and then photos will be added.
