The SLX sticker along with all the other decals suggest they are original du e to the patina which would be hard to duplicate any other way. And the old Cinelli logo panto DeRosa bar and stem being on it is hard to justify if it came from Benotto, right? Did Benotto do the pointy dropout thing, and the left-side-only diamond chainstays? Some have suggested they did only both chainstays diamond. Tomorrow I will pull the bb to see how many tubes have the rifling to hopefully settle the SLX question. So we seem to have narrowed it down t o the period 77-84 anyway, right? What about the 3 top-of-top-tube cable housing guides? My two 1978 Davidsons have them, and the under-bb cable gui des too. Anyone have them on an earler bike?

cheers and thanks for all the helpful and non-emotional comments.
