Hi, Listers!

Is anyone up on Woodrup serial numbers? There seem to be several sequences going on in the Classic Rendezvous website list. Mine (I won the recent Ebay auction) is a Giro Touring, S/N 4514. It has no lug cutouts, a smooth lugless fork crown, no little kick-up at the back of the seat cluster, no shifter or luggage rack braze-ons, and lots of wheel clearance. Frame lugs have smooth long points, and the BB shell is not Cinelli, or otherwise stamped. I haven't contacted Woodrup's yet.

Using the list, mine perhaps is 1980 to 1981, considering the numbers of Joyce Hinote, Ewen Newton, Micheal Chan, Duane Kennard and Greg Parker.

What brakes, cranks, and headsets were generally supplied? Stack height of the frameset is 36.0 mm, so a steel Campy Record or Nuovo Record suggests itself. A Chorus should fit, in modern choices.

Oboy, new project!!!
