Here's a more difficult question.
Which other Scottish / British (perhaps less successful) Professional pushed Robert Millar across the channel to ACBB which if he had not done would have robbed us all of one of our greatest talents in cycling ?

Mike Mullet will probably know who he is, as will I guess Brett Horton have a note of him somewhere. And this riders team machines were predominantly red !
