Can anyone explain this ?

Take a look at this Flying Scot (Starts 1 July ends 6 July) Frame No. 137F 54cm

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7166987444

Seller 'Frenchvelos' located in France (Asnières sur Oise) - went

from $150 to $300 but failed to meet it's reserve of $345.

bidders were Techno89, nd1862, oldbykeparts and 500 joules. Techno89

was the last bidder at $300.

next this scot ;

The same Item re-listed 7 July and runs to 12 July same seller same everything else except the reserves now $285 bidders this time include ;

oldbykeparts, retrosimplex,

Frame sells for $285 (the reserve) to retrosimplex

move on a month to a 7 August auction start date, and lo and behold -

what this ?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7174732032

The frames moved to Glasgow and being sold as Frame 233E with a reserve of $235 by Oldbykeparts who apparently failed to win it the last time at his max bid of $150... It's currently reached $272 with 20 hours to go with a 0 feedback high bidder. No problem in that, But wait a minute one of the earlier bidders at $247 is retrosimplex - who apparently won it last time round...

Smells fishy to me but there may well be a logical explanation for all this, perhaps I'm missing something here.
