To be honest I was not looking to sell it on the list, just find where others with a lot more experience than I have with buying and selling vintage bikes would do it. I have never bought or sold a vintage or collectable bike before ( I bought it new , it just became vintage. But I guess if I'm forced to do it here goes. :
This is a JP Weigle Hand Built Special I believe in 1978 or 1979 built for
me by Peter Weigle. I trained on it for 1 season in prep school and it has
been stored inside of a temperature controlled garage ever since. (it
probably has less than 100 miles on it) It is serial # 1038 seat tube is
59cm, top tube is 57cm; Head angle is 72 degrees seat tube is 73 degrees; As
shown fully complete with Black Burn rack, Water bottle holder and spare
tube under the seat it weighs 25-1/4 lbs It is made out of Columbus tubing
and has Shimano 105 front Derailleur; Shimano105- 6 speed Rear Derailleur;
Shimano 105- 12 speed shifters; GB Forged Stem; Crank is Sung
Sunshine Hubs; Rigida rims; Campanolo Head Set; SR Royal Seat Post; Dia
-Comp Brake Levers and Super 68 Calipers. Avocet saddle; Cyclepro Discovery
700X25c tires. It is in mint condition except for 3 small scratches on one
of the lower bars and for some reason the Columbus tubing decal is not all
complete (shown in photos )
