Hello Everyone:
First, let me thank my past patrons/sellers and fellow vintage bike hobbists for their support of voicing out scamming schemes and that MOGULPAL is NOT a scammer.
Secondly, I can understand how Dan felt after being cheated by this con-artist(s) from Germany. I do felt sorry for Dan. I am ready to help you to catch those SOB and will cooperate with authority of your choice.
Having say that, I must state the followings:
1) Mogulpal on eBay always accept PayPal since date 1.
2) Mogulpal always use mogulpal@yahoo.com (now also mogulpal@mogulpal.com) as email for eBay or any bike related transaction since date 1.
3) Mogulpal live in Los Altos, California for 20 years. For those of you have dealt with me before, you know you receive/sent package from/to Northern California, not Germany or elsewhere.
Dan is a victim of so-called Internet "phishing". Because I am a collector of vintage bikes (and now have my own website to share my collection), con-artist would love to "hi-jack" my item or posing as me to solicit second offering. In fact, I received such scam offering on DAILY basis. One of the most common "phishing" is from a fake PayPal saying my password is changed and asked me to click a link to login. Then, one will see a "almost real" PayPal webpage pop up but the URL is not paypal.com.
For this unfortunate event, Dan is a victim of scam and I am a victim of this false accusation. Scammers don't put effort buiding website like mine (www.mogulpal.com) and let this one time scam deal ruin his reputation. They do scam on expense of reputable seller, like myself, to gain trust of innocent buyer.
Sincerely,
Mogulpal (Paul Yeh) Los Altos, CA 94024
