This really takes me on a stroll down Memory Lane. Over 40 years ago, I had a J.C. Higgins. :-) True, mine came from Sears, Roebuck, but it was a Higgins all the same.

FS a very nice 1930s Higgins Ultra light.
This is the one with the rear seat tube that joins into a curved plate around the rear wheel. This plate then forms part of a rear fender. Fillet brazed & very nice.
It has been restored, re spaced and altered to fit 700c wheel. Re enalled in a very fetching green & red colour.
Now equipped with Cinelli, TA, and Campagnolo allong wth Hope hubs. 48 spokers.
22.5 X 22.5 although the rear is quite short (length not height).
It lives up to its name by being very light. a real head turner. Fast too (If I have the correct stoker!). $900.
Shipping to be thought about!
