Ouch!

This will be the fifth year for Velo Rendezvous and every year the October date has been set solely to enable Interbike trade show attendees to also attend Velo Rendezvous. Originally I thought lots of people in the bike trade would welcome the opportunity to attend a vintage lightweight bike show.

Unfortunately this has not been the case. As Yogi Berra once said, "they stayed away in droves." The show has been very warmly received and supported by the collectors but not by those working in the industry.

As I've said in the past, my motivation for putting on Velo Rendezvous is a selfish one... I want to have a great, multiple day vintage lightweight bicycle event to go to with all my friends. So I've been blessed!
