So, I'm across the country, out on the Left Coast, wrapping up a two-day conference in Berkeley. There is a dinner Tuesday night, to honor Art Rosenfeld, one of the founders of modern studies of energy efficiency in buildings (and to raise a bit of money for my own organization, http://www.aceee.org). Big anonymous rubber chicken banquet type thing. So, I sit down, and introduce myself to the fellow on my right. After about 30 seconds, Bill Mattinson and I have realized that we're both on this most unique little list group, and we had a whole bunch of good chat about bikes and people we both knew. So we each have a day job in the same general area, but share the same passion for these funny steel steeds.
We return you now to our regularly scheduled programing...
