My little brother (20 y/o) had a terrible day. He was moving into a new apartment. The door came up on the moving van, his bike fell out, and then he backed over it, flattening the frame. Poor kid, he was pretty upset.
He JUST got into road biking a month ago, the bike was a cool black and yellow Panasonic DX-3000 that he loved, and had just gotten fully hooked on road bikes after riding all over San Francisco. Already keeping up with me on rides, the bastard.
If anyone has a cool frame or complete bike, size 55 or 56, that they want to sell let me know. His old panasonic we scored on ebay for $190. I have a spare set of 80's shimano 600 that I can donate to the cause if I can find him a cool frame, or we can find him a cool bike. It doesn't have to be something collectible, just a quality lightweight steel frame that he will want to ride.
