Acquired a mystery Raleigh frameset and would appreciate more info. RetroRaleigh site was not much help.

Serial# N1B22xx, Gold-colored clear lacquer finish over chrome-plate on entire frame and fork (looks factory), Reynolds 531 Special Lightweight decals (feels like it), Superbe Pro gruppo w/Suntour Pro dropouts, long-point lugs w/window, later-type (Ral of America?) thick diecast headbadge, braze-ons: water, under BB cable, toptube cable, shifter bosses, sloping crown external-lugged fork w/blade stamped Reynolds Butted.

I suspect frame is early-80's but can't confirm model or country of origin. Not W or SB so what could it be?

Sounds like a Raleigh Superbe from Japan, just like we were discussing the other day. Circa 1978-1979.
