Dale - Glad to see those pics. I've got a nearly identical bike. I had
thought it was a San Remo too but now it appears the San Remo name was on a lot of
bikes. Been repainted very nicely but missing the big seat tube decal with
the eagle. I was thinking about painting the upper part of the chrome fork
because I thought it should match the rears which are half chrome, but I see
yours is the same so it must have been like that originally. I put it together
Saturday and took it out for a 65 mile ride Sunday. Very nice riding bike,
better than I expected. No pics yet but I will take some and post to my yahoo
albums and let the list know. Someone mentioned calling Ernie Clements to find
out more about it. I bought a Hetchins from a mate of his a couple years ago.
Perhaps I will send him pics of my bike to show Ernie and see what he has to
say.
cheers
