Well, I sold my 1966 Paramount track bike to a guy whose eBay handle is exbikemessenger and left my Cinelli stem on it. I suspect Schwinn didn't use Cinelli track stems 40 years ago, so this very anonymous 13cm. track stem may have gone with the bike when I bought it in 1970. Had an odd impulse to engrave the bike and create a work of art, but my buddy the artiste was nailed by a cerebral aneurysm just as I, the would be patron of the arts, picked up the Dremel tool. Probably saved the bike from some Dadaist end, but left me with this stem. Looking at it makes me nervous, imagining a header with such a bolt sticking out of the top.
