Sorry for being a bit off topic, but ---
I've been riding my bike (a 70's Bertin) a lot lately . On my last long ride (250 km) I started with a sore shoulder and came back with shoulder pain. I never had this problem before, most of my bicycle related pain was either in the knees or lower neck.
This particular pain is a low intensity dull pain on the right side only. Originally I thought it was carpal tunnel syndrome due to a low table and poor posture opposite the computer at work. The pain is there when I work but it's worst when riding a drop bar bike.
I built up a mid-30's Malvern Two Star with North Road bars to see if the pain is still there in an upright riding position. But the frame is bent and hellish to ride so I had to try something else, like a mountain bike. When upright, the pain is much less noticeable, but the ride is no fun.
So my questions are:
Who do you go to with this kind of problem? (my orthopedist prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs ... which had no effect).
Has anyone had this problem?
Can anyone recommend detailed frame fit info? (In case it is bike related and fixable).

BTW: The Two Star has bent Top and Down tubes. Even the head tube took a
hit.
That Head Tube has "seats" for a "floating" headset.
Floating headsets are great when the top and bottom of the head tube
don't align exactly.
The races align themselves to each other and work great. Nice design!
