I agree that this is a great post.
I was part of the Paris-Sport / NJBC scene myself. I worked at a shop called Englebosch Cycles and we were one of the shops that Mike mentioned that bought Paris-Sport bikes from the Fraysees. Actually, the owner of Englebosch was a good friend of Vic Fraysee and a financial backer of Mike & Vics' importing business.
Mike (Fabian) makes a good point about the NJBC having such good infrastructure and that being something that is sorely lacking in the bike racing scene today.
John Pergolizzi suggested that we try to draft Mike Fraysee to participate in this list. I've emailed Mike a couple of times for information on CR topics and he never responded. I'm guessing that it isn't his bag, but if we could get him to come to Cirque we would probably hear a few tall tales.
Some of the other posts on this tread have alluded to Mike Fraysee's cavalier business practices. Let's just say that Mike was great tactician even when he wasn't on the bike.
