What else besides Campy would be appropriate for say a Motobecane Team Champion Nick? Maybe all French for a touring bike, but for the racers in the bunch it's gotta be Campy doesn't it? I used to have a '86 PX that all Mavic and it was way cool, but Mavic components are fairly hard to come by and pricey.

> Why would any one want to place Italian components on a French bicycle?
\r?\n> I have owned 30-40 Italian bicycles and never once thought of using French
\r?\n> components on any of them. My one French bicycle was equipped with all
\r?\n> French components. Just wondering.

\r?\n> an excellent summary of French bike dimensions (both frames and components)
\r?\n> versus English/ISO. One usually first discovers the larger toptube when one
\r?\n> tries to install Campy cable clips on a French bike. You can usually make them
\r?\n> fit, but only with great effort.
