My 1957 O.T.B. came with Lam brakes. I didn't much like them, upgraded to Mafac.

"freins LAM, brevete sgdg"

"Freins" = "brakes"

"brevete" = "patented or registered"

"SGDG" = "Incorporated" or something like that.
