Some mint condition chrome steel parts off an early 60's (61?) Raleigh. These were the same in the 50's:
Raleigh chrome steel sidepull 'Made in England' brakeset - mint, no rust. John Bull pads with some wear, but could be cut flat again and still have plenty of life. These are the older version with the lower arm having a straight profile (vs the newer one's where the arms are curved along the entire length). Complete, with the barrel adjusters, bolts, nuts, mounting hardware, etc. $30 set with pads. 3 of the JB pads are worn very little, and I can throw in 1 pair of the original Fibrax pads with very little wear also.
I also have a set of the later(?) curved arm version, same condition. Unfortunately, no pads or holders. First come can have pads with whichever set they want. $15 - set without pads. There are plenty of chrome steel pad holders out there that fit these and look the same.
All chrome steel levers for above brakes for drop bars, overall VGC. One lever blade has a couple of tiny scratches, the other has several. They are not deep. Lever blades could be refinished and rechromed. If swapped left to right they would not really show. $10
Chrome steel lugged stem with spear point on bar clamp, and matching chrome steel drop bar. I think these are Maes bend. Mint, no engraving on bar, stem engraved with Raleigh Man below insertion line, no marks, show quality. 8c length, with a long quill, and fasteners in perfect deep chromed condition. $60
Raleigh Man cottered steel crankset with smooth BB and unworn rings. Mint. Thick lock ring BB in Raleigh-specific threading, with 46/49 1/2 step rivetted chainrings. Non-fluted arms with beveled edges. Good cotters and nuts. Straight, bearings are smooth. Cast V in back of arm, + M on drive arm. These are the models with the curved chain ring supports from the 60-64 bikes like the Blue Streak and Gran Sport $60
Raleigh Man 'Made in England' double-sided non-quill pedals, full chrome, VGC. Type with extensive delta cutouts in the cages, and points on the outer top ends of the cages. Smooth bearings and no play. Very slight chrome chips on 3 of the 4 cage points only. Tiny scratch on one end cap (not through the chrome). Otherwise mint. These have screw on end caps so they can be rebuilt, and nice axles. $30
Original Reynold black chain, no wear on the chainrings or d. pulleys, so probably no wear on the chain either. (No visible wear, and not 'loose'). Mint, no rust, no loss of blacking. $25 This is the early type Reynold with the dimples in the pins, and the odd shaped links. I have another for my project bike, so this one can go to the list.
Make offer if you don't think the prices are fair. These are hard to come by in this condition.
Please send zip with inquiry so I can figure shipping.
