TUFOs are basically updated Barums. They were pretty decent and cost-effective tires from Czechoslovakia (in what is now the Czech Republic) back in the '70s.... I used to ride the Kriterium PBWs IIRC.
BTW, I am (still) interested in stocking some tires - what is the concensus regarding brands and models? Any specific recommendations? Veloflex Criteriums, etc. look quite good to me, but I've not ridden them (yet). Plus, they make the Pavé clinchers (and several other tires) as well.....
