Subject: [CR]diagnosing a Campy BB problem.

I bought a Campagnolo BB on eBay, and all seemed on the up and up. My LBS tried to install it in my frame and could not. Luckily, the shop had access to other Campag parts and got a working bottom bracket assembled.

I've now got the BB I bought in hand, and don't know how to communicate the problem to the seller other than saying that my LBS said the spindle didn't match the cups. The spindle has pressed on races, and is stamped with the bearing size, 3/16". Also stamped on it is "70-120". The cups also state the bearing size, 3/16". What other detail information do I need to capture in order to better understand if there is indeed a mismatch between spindle and cups, or if some other issue was at the root of this problem? As a last resort I'll turn this bottom bracket back on eBay and some other poor schmuck will wind up with the same problem I had. It's cruel, but that's life.
