Sounds perfect for a short torso/smaller stature person.

Can you please send me those digi pics of that bike, George?

Just as a reminder to any potential buyer, I have a dwindling suppy of the original McLean down tube decals available (that is the only decal for this model, there was no head tube decal) They are free, not to owner but to be sent to any of the excellent professional bicycle paint shops.

Also, interesting to note, at 50 CM that is one short top tube! George, has it got a bit of front wheelo & toe overlap? (not a necessarily a bad thing in my opinion)

Thanks Dale

Greetings CR folks-I'm offering this McLean bicycle for sale 'as-is'. I obtained this from the original owner, one of many hard-riding ladies from Fort Worth in the 80's and 90's.

McLean frame/fork s/n #M02091. Seat tube 47cm c-c, top tube 50cm c-c, 43cm chainstays. Reynolds 531. Sort of a light harvest gold color. Campy f/r dropouts, rear adjusters broken off. Braze-ons-DT shifter bosses, DT pump peg, 1 set bottle bosses, f/r dropout eyelets, rear rack eyelets on seatstays, 2 cable eyelets on top tube. Headset-Campy aluminum SR BB-Appears to be a Phil, with alloy rings Crank-TA Cyclotouriste, 170mm, 28-45-50. Pedals-None Front Deraller-Campy NR Rear Derailer-Shimano Deore DX (Not original) Shift Levers-Campy braze-on, with tan lever hoods Brakes-Campy NR, domed QR, short reach, 1 set Campy shoes/holders. O-rings on adjustment barrels gone Brake Levers-Older Shimano 600 Aero (Not original) Bars-Cinelli 'Campione del Mondo' old logo, 37 mm c-c Stem-Ugly non-original, will include Cinelli 1-A, 70mm Seatpost-Campy NR, 27.2 Saddle-San Marco 'Giro Donna' Hubs-Old 3-pc Phil, chrome centers, alloy flanges. Wheels have been re-spoked. Rims-Super Champion clincher 700-c, 36 hole, red oval label. Freewheel-5 speed Shimano, 14-28 Rear Rack-Jim Blackburn non-adjustable. Overall condition-Well ridden, not a garage queen. Lots of paint chips, scrapes, McLean decals OK, Reynolds decals pretty much gone. Chrome on hubs, brakes, etc light pitting.

How about $400 plus actual UPS shipping from zip code 76013. Can e-mail pictures if interested. Will part out if not sold.

Thanks-George Handy in Arlington Texas
