A friend of mine in Italy has asked me to help him sell a vintage track bike. You can see three photos of the bike on wooljersey by clicking here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/maasland?page=3

The bike is labelled as a Wander bike, which is one of the brands that belongs to the Garlatti group of companies. Apparently the bike was however built by Romani for one of the amateur teams that Garlatti/Wander sponsored, because Wander did not have any track bikes themselves.

It is a Columbus frame with Campagnolo hubs, pedals, SR headset, first generation SR seatpost, Gipiemme BB and chainset, Cinelli bars, stem and saddle. The wheels have just been rebuilt with Mavic Or rims and fitted with new silk tubulars.

I have been told that the bike is a 55 cm frame, but I do not know how that measurement was taken and do not have any other measurements.

The bike is still in Italy, but I should be able to get it shipped over shortly together with a number of other bikes I have over there right now.

He would like 700 euros or US$875 for the bike delivered.
