I hesitated and lost out on the fine Osgear Super Champion rear derailleur listed on ebay by Peter Naiman, and am hoping someone can help me find another. It is for a late 1930's Urago with braze-on fittings. A neighbor had this stored in her garage after her brother passed away. He had picked it up in France in '38 or '39 - I have a letter he wrote to her in 1940 after his return describing the bike. It seems he replaced the derailleur in the early '50s with a Simplex.
She is quite interested in seeing it restored, as am I, and I would be very grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction. The restoration is just getting underway so other advice would be appreciated as well.
