I am excited that many of you have expressed the intension of attending the '06 Cirque. I hope that you have noticed a few changes this year.

The event will take place a little more than a month later, this year on June 9, 10 & 11. That was decided due to the shifting of other area events and availability of motels/hotels. Many folks have said this date suits them even better, I hop4e that is true for everyone.

If you visit the web pages dedicated to the Cirque, you will see that the Friday schedule is different. We still will have the social reception & "Fixie" ride (other bikes welcome) but then that evening will start the new-format dinner & charity auction. We will have a new-to-this-event dedicated space to enjoy a buffet dinner, preview the auction items and then commence the auction itself, which will be bigger & better than ever. Head auctioneer John Pergolozzi reports that some "significant collector items" are already promised and this will be a don't miss event!

Saturday and Sunday will take place in a similar style as in previous years.. Watch for the announcement of the seminar & banquet speakers. Sunday will see the theme of "Touring and track bikes, those fascinating opposites" but, as always, all sorts of quality vintage and traditionally handmade lightweights are welcome.

If you are planning to attend, in addition to the early registration discounts, those who sign up for the three vintage events (Auction, Seminars & Banquet) on or before April 1, 2006, receive a limited edition Cirque water bottle. They just arrived and are awesome! (Thanks again to our ace graphic artist, Robert Murray!)
